Application of ochre-coloured asphalt on avenue de la Joyeuse Entrée

From 4 to 8 August 2025, roadworks will be carried out on Avenue de la Joyeuse Entrée, between Rue de la Loi and Avenue de Cortenbergh. These works will take place simultaneously with those at Schuman Square (Rue Archimède side).

Beliris, the federal contracting authority, and the contractor are committed to minimising inconvenience and completing the works as swiftly as possible.

Practical Information

Avenue de la Joyeuse Entrée (between rue de la Loi and avenue de Cortenbergh) and the entrance to the tunnel E40 will remain closed to traffic.

Traffic on the southern part of Avenue de la Joyeuse Entrée and Rue de la Loi will be restricted to local traffic only, allowing residents access to their garages.

• Cyclists: detours via rue de la Loi, the roundabout, and avenue de Cortenbergh (contraflow side lane), or via the passage between the tunnel and the Parc du Cinquantenaire.
• Motorists:
  • From avenue d’Auderghem: detour via avenue des Gaulois, avenue de l’Yser et avenue de la Renaissance.
  • From the E40: detour via avenue de Cortenbergh, the roundabout, rue Froissart and rue Belliard.

The sidewalks will remain accessible for pedestrians throughout the works.

Access to buildings and businesses will be maintained at all times, as will emergency services. Deliveries and removals within the work zone remain possible with prior contact.
